After a hotly contested pitch, Nando’s has chosen Timesquare as its new below-the-line creative agency. Timesquare will now service the BTL needs of over three-hundred Nando’s restaurants across eight Southern African regions.
In a rigorous process facilitated by Yardstick, the pitch tested the agencies’ strategic capability, conceptual thinking and creative execution with Nando’s new visual identity, tasking them to develop a regionally focused campaign for Ramadan.
Punting food to fasting Muslims over the holy month of Ramadan was not without its challenges, but our understanding of the brand’s tone, our single-minded strategy, focus on respect and strong design won the day.
